This project was really cool, we all put allot of effort in this one, lots of preparation, run trues  and sample searching.
We hope to do more live movie soundtracks in the near future, it really works great with the big screen. The audicence was really enthusiastic beeing dropped in the pool of sound @ the big Kinepolis theather in Ghent.

Despite the cold weather (6°C!), the muddy terrain, and the festival projector not being able to work, we had a blast!

We are looking forward to performing a live movie soundtrack for this wonderful old digitally remastered silent movie “The General” from 1926 @ the Canvas ‘Het grote doek” festival!
This movie looks far ahead of its time, the spectacular chases, fires and explosions are captured with fluid camerawork and just asks for a new Bigband soundtrack. The movie has such a graceful perfection, such a meshing of story, character and episode, that they unfold like music. This Buster Keaton movie is amongst the greatest of all silent comedies, The General isn’t just important, it’s bloody hilarious! Get ready for fun and excitement (and offc a sh*tloads of scratched and funky tunes) !
